Night pearls jewellery box

1st in the series of small private commissions. I don’t usually do commissions but my teacher asked if i could design some small wedding boxes for the wedding jewellery she was going to give her relative.

This design is two night pearls joined by a golden link. It is the kind of design Gods and Goddesses gift to each other on important occasions. Night pearls are said to grow deep within lakes. When retrieved they glow softly in the night and are praised for their soft glow, hence the name night pearls.

My fan

This is my fan that i carry in the park mostly on hot days. The breeze it provides really cools me down. Its a strange feeling when the wind blows. Like a combination of our energy flows into the park. I wanted something simple and abstract for myself and i generally feel in terms of processing energy so this artwork is a process of energy. I also tend to see balls of light perhaps they are spiritual guides or balls of light energy around me.
