This drawing is one of my favourites. It shows a past lifetime in another world, and somehow the Archangel Michael connected, and resonated. In a sea of souls, conquering despair, and even the angel in the corner, alone can feel the light of the Archangel Michael’s sword. Angels move around the souls. People raise up their arms in hope, and the girl bows her head, in this moment, all is well.
Strange hermit with angels carolling on top of his hat, Had a symbolism of balance of light and dark, here he is present in the sky, with blue clouds and a serene surrounding. Maybe hermits are closer to heaven. who knows.
The angels appear to be in congregation as well, or discussing something, as the hermit holds his transparent cat, a symbolism for understanding secrets.
These strange bowler hat twins who are made of smoke serenely listen to some music from a gramaphone. a little mysterious black raven watches on. An angel reaches up while they are distracted by the music and turns a wheel, a red chord present in her other hand to turn time.
Definately a symbol of one trying to manipulate the slowness or quickness of time, a heavenly intervention by the angel changes things a bit
This is an interesting drawing to me, it shows an idea that there are beings out there that transcend different levels of consciousness.
The first is an archangel, and an enlightened man, and an angel behind him. Different beings with different responsibilities and different levels of spirituality.
None is more powerful than the other, and they cycle together or work together. Just my impression of what people talk about. I think the blue angel on the back of the bicycle is like the guardian angel.
The archangel leads the way, but is helped by an enlightened being. everyone working together.
This is my Christmas special. I just wanted to do an art piece to share with friends and family and just get into the mood for Christmas. By the time I finally got down to doing this piece, it was 2 days before Christmas, something like that. I got it out on facebook just in time !
The essence of this picture, really is that Christmas is in the heart of everyone. The man in a bent tophat represents a hermit. Somehow on Christmas, he is surrounded by his tree, angels that have come to visit him, and cats that can decorate trees. A bit whimsical this one.
I started including the image of a homeless man or hermit in my work because I used to volunteer at a restaurant that served vegan food to homeless people. One of the men there who was homeless and played drums on buckets told me someone had invited him to the house for tea. This person pretended to be homeless, but actually had chandeliers in their house and nice crockery which the homeless man felt was very strange, Ever since then I have tried to imagine what he looked like.
